Cory Chisel In AppletonNice little spread. Some sweet production stills from the shoot. http://www.postcrescent.com/ic/corychisel/musicindex.shtml As things begin to roll…Glad to announce we’ve been pretty busy so far this year. Damoco Films is on top of their game and looking forward to bringing the services and professionalism that Chicago deserves. So far we’ve had great success with a handfull of clients, including WSI, RCA, TIK, and Schofield Media. As the jobs continue to come in, we’d both personally like to thank everyone who have been supportive of this adventure. As much as your support has helped us, we want to reiterate that we are in it for you as well. We’re here to support the community and bring back the love that has nurtured us along the way. Feel free to comment on our blog. Post what you need to say and let us help you reach the world with your message. We want to help you in anyway, whether it’s a simple blog or a screening announcement or even to produce the ideas that are signature to the development of the film community as a whole. So let’s all help each other create a place and name for Chicago film production and the good ol’ days will be on their way. Cheers, -d BlogtasticHowdy, Dan and I are starting to get the hang of this blog site. Check out a few links we’ve established on the left side of the page under “Places to Go.” Included are links back to the main site, to our temporary reel of work and creativity, and a link to the well known MoFest organization. Enjoy! Mighty Mo Our first postIf you’re reading this you’ve gone way too far into our brand new website! 2008 is proving to be an exciting year for Chicago’s latest and greatest production company, Damoco Films. Owners Dan Marcus and Mo Wagdy have spent years working in production, and have worn many hats, such as director, producer, editor, prop master, set dec, grip, electric, and, yes…the most crucial and critical role on set - the lowly scumbag PA. We’ve built this entity from the ground up (just like Starship built this city), and with our production knowledge we are quickly restructuring the future of this fine film market. We understand that anyone can post a video online. And its no secret that editing has become a breeze. But it takes swift management and true talent and experience to produce content worth watching and sharing. And most importantly, within a designated budget. Sincerely, Tay Zonday (jk..Mighty Mo Wagdy, EP) |
